  • Hanging - painting & transporting parts

Here is a link for anyone who is looking for a good cart source but haven't been able to find anything they like. You'll see a good selection of carts that are a nice for moving and hanging parts from for powdercoating. I personally use an A-frame for my parts here in the shop. It works great for handing both long and/or small parts. While SJF has used carts available, I would suggest starting with a new cart dedicated to powdercoating that is free from decals, paint rust etc.

good link to help us out, sterner.

A suggestion if I may? Perhaps Caswell will see this and you two should get together. Maybe something can be made ( cost effectively, of course) and offered for us here for the coating and hobbyist plating/anodizing crew? I know your prices are reasonable in the industrial world but if I may be so bold ( I really don't want to offend, but be more diplomatic about this approach) the racks need to be smaller and a little more obtainable to reach our goals in the workshop. Maybe some sort of "do it yourself" kit to cut down on costs? If it could be broken down easily and fit on a workbench or stand alone that would be great as well. Like I said..... send Caswell an e-mail and see if you guys can't work something out. I see a need for a viable racking solution for under $100 and suitable for the hobbyist. Good luck with it..... The ideal cart

Give me some parameters you would like to see. ( size , wheels etc for the ideal shop cart.) I'll find what I think meets your specs and price range that are good quaility ( some carts are poor ) . If you like what I find, I'll post a link to it and offer a special discount to anyone who buys it online from this forum.
