Congradulations on your first part. It came out real nice.

All the powders when sprayed on a part look fuzzy. Sometimes the fuzzy-ness looks so good in some colors that I wish it would look like that after being cured.

Outgassing isn't such a big issue on mild steel (am I correct that the part is steel?) and billet aluminum but it is a big hassle when dealing with cast aluminum such as valve covers and aluminum intakes.

Thankies. nope it is aluminum. My 2nd part is also aluminum but it was about 1/2" think and I think I should have pre-heated it before coating. Well luck for me it is a good friend who is letting me experiment on his parts!! Glad I ordered yellow from here as the Harbor Frieght Yellow is too orange for me but he likes it. I will be doing a few more parts today. Man this is cool.

Harbor Freight is also *way* out of line on price. Caswell's powder is usually half the cost of HF, and comes in about a hundred more colors
