  • Translauncent RED

Just got done shooting some atv hubs with translucent red over chrome.
I think they came out great. Heres what the color looks like.

Horror story of the night! Good thing these hubs are mine. Total are 4 and 2 are like drums off a car. While taking one out of the oven after outgassing it fell on the floor and is no longer round.
Guess that metal gets pretty soft when hot.

hey so i take it that Translucent Red is a top coat on other colors? what colors can be used for the base coat and what procedures do you go by to get that hot finish

I used chrome for the base coat. You can use different colors for different effects like using silever or copper vain for a base.
