You might try a lower temp for a longer duration. The powder will flow out a little slower. If you are masking off the back anyway, try laying it flat in your oven.

is there a special trick to coating thin metal? Like a spinner blade used in fishing? the problem I'm having is that after the oven look like they were barly coated and have a 1/4 moon crescent of paint on the bottom .
