Dumb question on curing.

Just a quick question on curing. Is it OK to use a heat gun for any parts? I tried a few sample pieces of sheet metal, and it would flow out. Would that be hot enough for it to fully cure? If not, I have to start building an oven

start building the oven........i'm sure it would take a very long time with a heat gun to bring the metal up to temp for the correct amount of time...I use a heat gun to powder coat fishing spinners but i still cure them in the oven...
