I want to coat some pieces with teflon. Is it possible to do that with powder coating process? Where can I find teflon powder?

    thank

Yes, they do make a teflon in a powder form that you can use in your powder coating gun. Unfortunantly unless you find a place that has bought some and is selling it in smaller packs you'll have to order $1000 worth of it to get any from the only manufactuer. I've been searching for a place that has teflon in small packs but I haven't had any luck.

So I ask for another question in order of replacing the teflon. What I should coat my plates with to reach the same protection to chemical product as the teflon?

What do you mean reach the same protection to chemical product as the teflon? Teflon is mainly used for its ability to make it so things do not stick to the metal. Are you talking about coating eatting plates? If so it wouldn't be a good idea to teflon coat eatting plates anyways since if you use a knife to cut something on the plate your going to mess the teflon coating up. I will be calling a place tomorrow to ask them if pieces that have been powderoated are safe to eat with or off of.
