All I know for sure is don't buy the S1000. I bought one on ebay brand
new, used it on one job and sold it on ebay for about a $50.00 loss.
The next week I started a 3ft by 4ft by 5ft oven that will handle an atv frame.
If you look at sure-tek's curing time chart for the S1000, it say's
"not recommended for powder coating." I'm not sure why Caswell has
this light listed if you shouldn't use it on powder coat.
    Good Luck,

I would recommend the one of the Mr. Heaters IR Propane heaters. They heat up a lot faster then electric and propane isn't that expensive.

I use IR propane, with great success but others say they like the electric..

What BTU size version would you suggest for being able to do a bike frame? Would one 16,000 BTU propane IR unit do the job, if reflected around the back of the part?
          Thanks,
