  • IR Curing--------------LOST

Im a little lost on this. I've been using the m1500 to cure parts and all
is going well.........I think. I got a reflective shield opposite the light.
Im lost on this. Parts look done after cure time recommend but IR temp. guage only says there at about 240 degress. Is the rays from the light effecting the ir gun?

    ANY INPUT APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!1

    Thanks

If you think it's the light screwing up your reading, then click light off and measure temp quickly, then turn light back on. Here's a thought- Try a sample peice and once cured try to damage coating.See if it is hard and attached well.Under cured powder is usually easier to remove. Any of you IR guys feel free to chime in and help.
