Just how similar does Chrome powdercoat look to "real chrome"? Or is it just clear with little silver "flecks" in it? Is there some example pics I can view?

Re: Look of Chrome Powder Coat?
Not very similar. It looks more like a chrome colored paint...which is really all it is.
There are some yellow pics in our Restoration Forum. No one has sent us any chrome pictures yet.--

caswell,
I get a nice shinny finish with the chrome powder. Let me find some pictures and I'll post them.

Hot Coat Pro has a new Reflective Chrome out and looks allot better then the regular powder chrome. Yes, you would use a top coat. Hot Coat Pro also has a brand new Super High Gloss Clear Coat that you can use. They are both brand new to hit the market. You can find them at http://www.eastwoodco.com360 Air Intakez

If it is I must say its a remarkable good result, what is the name of the powders, and who is the producer ?
This must be testedDid you know that it is possible to use every gram of powder if you recycle when coating, and vapors are almost none !
In a wet paint approx. 80-90 % evaporates into the air. Causing stress on the enviroment !
1 kg. of powder can cover approx. 10-12 m3
1 litre. of wet paint covers approx. 2-3 m3
