Powder Coating Precautions

When setting up a powder coating system, are there any precautions that should be taken? Such as explosion proof light fixtures, ventilating fans, etc. I am reasonably sure that regular paint masks would be required.

The same precautions that are used when spray painting would be wise. Fans are not necessary...they will blow the powder around. A paint mask is a must.

People do this in their garages quite successfully without an expensive set-up.
