  • Curing Lamps?

I am considering purchasing a curing lamp, do these work well for baking powder? Also what's the difference from "short wave & medium wave"?
Is the Caswell M9000 any good?
    Thanks

I own both the M1500 and M2000. Based on my experience I would recommend at least the M2000. The M9000 would be great, but the cost is prohibitive for most. Medium wave can be used to cure powder and liquid, the short wave is for liquid only. Hope this helps.

      Re: Curing Lamps

      Thanks Viper:
Bear with me, as I never used a lamp to cure PC. Will it cure all the way around an items (say it is four sided)? Or do I need to turn the item? Also if the item I am curing is longer than the light, can I move it along the item and get seamless flow & coverage?
      Thanks

        Bob,

Infrared light will only cure what the "light" can see. You can do four sided objects, with each side being cured individually. You can also cure larger objects by the way that you have described. (Curing a section at a time)
