    Hello all,

I'm new to PC, (actually am just getting ready to do my first few practice parts), but learning alot from this forum. When I ordered my gun and powder from Caswell, I forgot to order the masking tape. My question is, why couldn't I just mask with regular tape, and remove it before baking?

    Thanks,
    Wolf

The powder (near the taped area) may be disturbed by removing regular masking tape. You're best off with the high-temp tape, then peeling it off after you cure.

Just a tip. When masking off large areas, use aluminum foil.

Ive been playing around with that chrome colored muffler tape, actually i believe it is used or use to be used in duct work, its metal faced with a sticky backing on it. so far its worked for doing some designs.
