  • Gas oven

I've read through the forum extensively, but can't find this specific issue addressed (If it was and I missed it, my apologies.) I'm remodeling my kitchen.

Has anyone successfully taken their old natural gas kitchen ovens into their shop and used them to cure? Is their any explosive risk involved? Thanks in advance.

I believe your pretty much safe with the gas as long as there are no open flames the powder dust could come into contact with....alot of the commecial ovens are gas fired.

I have a commercial gas fired oven in my garage that I use without any issues. I think it even works better than the small electric range I use for the little parts and pieces. Possibly due to the fact that the flames move the air around.
