    hey guys, im tring to do some rotors on my car well atleast the center piece of the rotor, I have extreamly clean no rust what so ever on them, problem Im having is once Im done powder coating them "flat black" and put the wheel back on the car, the coating flakes off in some certain parts? anyone have a idea what im doing wrong? should I put more on?

    Unless your using the High Temp Powder it will. The Rotor on a car will get to extrem temps when braking. Not even sure if the High Temp Powder will hold up..

      you might try wiping the part down with acetone just befor you coat it...and make sure you dont touch it...its amazing what your hands can put onto the metal..

        Brakes get WAYY too hot... Paint the rotors and call it a day.

          why don't you use techlines ceramic black ?
          it will hold up to over 1500

            Even better, use Techlines TLTD, it helps in cooling the part aswell, we use it on brake components and get very nice results.
