  • Textured Black

I sent an eamil to Caswell & never heard back. Can anyone confirm, if Caswell sells Black "Textured" powders?
    Thanks & Happy New Year.

Bob do yourself a big favor and try and find the black tex powder called BlackJack....sherwin williams has it but you have to get it in 50# lots. this stuff is awesome.....I use it for the handles and hatches I do for a marine manufacturing company I coat for. This stuff is really forgiving and it looks great...

      Bob,

Caswell has a Black Wrinkle (polyester) listed here:

You might want to try and call them today and ask them what kind of texture the finish has.

Wrinkle is not the same as textured. Wrinkle is as it sounds(appears to have small wrinkles in the finish). Textured powder looks as though it has sand in it or looks like painted sand paper(very awesome finish).

Contact Caswell and ask them if they have HB Fuller's Black RAL9005 #IF59126. This is very close to Blackjack and being a HB color they probably have it.

The best part of this powder is it's hiding ability. The stuff hides pinholes and small dings. It's a semigloss or mat-finish. Most textured powders are semigloss or mat-finish.If you must have high gloss then go to a wrinkle.

          Re: textured Black

          Thanks Dale & Co:
I am very familiar with textured. I only asked if Caswell did (or would) carry/stock them. I use alot of textured powder & love the forgivness of texture. Some items done in a gloss look terrible, but then done in a texture, look amazing.
Caswell, what do you think?? Maybe stock some.
          Thanks
