well i dont have a thickness gauge yet.when appling the powder ,do i just put enough on to cover the material? i have read that if you dont have good coverage after it is baked you may apply another coat. is this true? i try to put enough on the first time but i think its to much. my friend in florida told me it takes like 2 pounds of powder to properly coat a atv frame. is this way to much powder use?i would think the lighter the coat the smoother the finish. thank you

i believe it was nonstick and possibly a very good chance it was dale that posted a very good description on what yor part should look like when it is covered, I go for a uniform dust covered look almost a velvet look..after awhile you just get the feel for it..

yeah, i beleive i am putting to much on.next week i am going to powder a frame with the lollipop blue.it says best used with the chrome. i have read that you may bake the chrome completely before appling the blue,is this true?or do i bake until the chrome is flowing? like 10 minutes. one more thing. whats the best way to take off old powder coating?

this is a hell of a way to chat quads...you might want to try a metalic silver for the base color that what i use, i like the look better than the chrome.....unless its real chrome..
