Is using a siphon sandblaster recommended? Will it get the job done? What kind of sandblaster should I use? I already have a booth. Thanks.

I have three different blasters and always want more. If your attitude is to get it done then with a spihion blaster you can get it done depending on what your blasting(ex.finish, meterial, etc). With the right blaster and media you can get it done a lot quicker and with better results than with the wrong app. for the job. All im saying is yes, you can get it done, but when it come to blasting and your prep work there a lot to be said.

My cabinet was setup as a siphon blaster, but I felt it was too slow, so I rigged my small pressure blaster to feed the media to the gun at low pressure. It works a lot better than the siphon feed. I explained the setup a few days ago - I think the thread is titled "To go cabinet or Pressurized". There are also some other threads with more information on blasting. Just do a search for blasting.
