Form what I have been told and read, you can not match Powder to Paint codes. Well Maybe BLACK and White. What I will be doing is taking a Powder Coated part to the paint shop and match the Paint to the Powder.

PPG paint # matched to powder?

      Hey Noob:
Respectfully I don't agree. I have had some luck in the past getting a powder (RAL) # to cross ref with liquid #. Not always, but I have had some luck.

        Typical responce follows: @#$^*^[email protected]#$&(&%#$%&()&%$#$^*()_(^$

I forgot about RAL #'s. That would be close but I think perfect match would be exception rather then rule. But the non RAL # powders would be much harder to match.

Yeah, boring day at workdealing with people playing with Devices that they should not be using. At least in a junk yard, people want parts, plain and simple

there are places that custom match powder to paint but you must buy a minimun of 50lb and since I haven't done it before I don't know how close it would be to the paint.
