Building your own pressure pot

Hey guys,

Could somebody post some pics and a description on how to build your own blasting pressure pot ? It could not be that hard to build.
At $400-$600-for a 140 lb"der it would pay to just build your own.

Thanks for the information Bob. I will go to the web sight and take a look.
What I was thinking of, is taking an air compressor tank I have and turning it into a pressure pot. I have a general idea of how to build the top section, ie. ( low pressure side and filling )
but the bottom section with the piping ( high pressure side and feed ) I could use some input on.
Somebody might be able to post a good picture with a brief description of the setup they have?
Being a certified welder most of my life , I dont see much of a problem cutting up a tank and putting it back together again. Hell, I might build a few , and try to sell them to you guys !

The bottom is pretty simple. On the bottom of the pressure tank you should have a threaded 1/2" hole. In that hole install a ball valve (so you can regulate the media coming out of the tank. On the bottom side of the ball valve, install a threaded "T" with the bottom of the "T" facing up, screw that into your ball valve. On the back side of the "T" the pressure line (high pressure rubber hose) that comes from the top of the pressure tank's air feed, feeds into the back side of the "T" you just installed. On the front side of the "T" place a 4" x 1/2 nipple. From the nipple you can attach a rubber hose up to your gun/nozzle.
I would also add a water trap on the top side.
