Tape over powder.....

OK heres my situation;
i need to do multiple colors on a part... once my base color is down, will the tape screw up the cured base by curing the 2nd and 3rd colors

it's easier said than done
you have to fully cure each coat and let cool down completely
or otherwise it will mark the taped previous coat.
I suggest to practice on some scrap pieces first to get the hang of it .
