I am new to powder coating and starting to setup shop in my basement. I have a old kitchen stove to use as my curing oven. Can I cure in my basement if I put a vent hood over the stove? My garage is cramped but I could put the oven there if need be. It would be much easier and cleaner if I could put it in my basement where I will do my powder coating.

Re: Curing Inside
If you were to do this, i would make sure the ocven is in a room by itself, or make a room for it, and make sure you have a FAN that is venting the air fron the oven to the OUTSIDE. There will be fumes and sometimes visible smoke from powdercoating. I wouldn't want that in my house. You're best bet is outside though.
