Re: Noob
This question crops up occasionally. Personally, I can never see the cash value or marketability of such a scheme. I doubt people are going to bring work to a mobile shop on a car show, and expect it to be done in a couple of hours.

Re: Noob
If you are talking about Powder Coating I think your biggest problems would be powering your
shop what is your idea for this .
Then transport I would think possibly an old race car trailer so everything is inside what exactly
are your thoughts . I believe anything can be done if you want it bad enough

Re: Noob
It seems like it would need a lot of electricity if you used curing lamps, unless they could run on gas.

Re: Noob
It can be done, I have seen it advertised before. You would need a blaster, generator, oven, powders, etc.... I dont think it is a good idea to have the blast booth double as a spray booth, too big of risk of contaminating parts.

Hello all. I am very interested in starting my own business. I am considering an Idea... How hard would it be to Create a "portable" station?
Please tell me if you think this is possible...
1.Small enclosed trailer (insulated) with strategic curing lamps.
2.Air compressor
3. Parts cleaner
I know there are other things but I guess my Question is could a trailer double as a blast booth and a spray booth?
Also My trailer would require adequate ventilation as well.
CAN IT BE DONE
