How do I PC wire wheels that can't be taken apart

I've got a set of 1952 48 spoke wheels that need to be coated and I did one; the coverage was not as good as it should be:

1. Is there a way to PC the thin spots without sandblasting the wheel and starting over?

2. How can I get good coverage on two sides and top/bottom and all around the spokes?

spray them warm, to break down the faraday effect. You need a really good ground also. Since your gun does not have alot fof voltage it wont be an easy job to coat such wheels, even when I did a set of 20" Player wheels, the spokes didnt get fully coated and that with a pro gun and 2 coats, after 4 nice coats, they looked covered.

Can I put more powder on the wheels I already have done to fill in the thin spots? Is there any tricks to do this?

Try taking the tip of the gun and get in close. I've never had much success coating parts warm OR recoating...

if you get the gun to close it will create more of a problem with the powder back ionizing, also quite possibly K.V fry if you already have a coat on there which you will just see the powder fall off and not stick. Allow the part to get to at least 200f and spray a nice even coat, make sure you have a fresh clean ground. You should focus on re-covering the entire wheel with another coat, otherwise you will get what looks like sand in certain areas because there wont be enough powder coverage to flow out smooth.

Warm coating... I have not had luck doing. I dont ever try anymore.

Second coats... I have never had a problem.
