When working with any type of chemical / powder / polishing compound ect you should always
have an M S D S these are readily available through Caswells and can be sent via e-mail , snail mail or fax

I personally do not work with powders but the info on the MSDS will be enough for your vet to
        tell

Each powder will have different qualities, so one cannot generalise on this. See the MSDS.
My pat answer is, this is nowhere for a pet or a child to be. If you have Tiddles footprints in your powder, pay more attention to keeping the door shut, for no other reason than he'll drag this through the house and make a mess everywhere. The 'little woman' of the house (if there is such) will not be impressed and you'll become yet another member of the infamous 'Doghouse Club'.
