    Alright, thanks for the info. I'm going to pick up some gold leaf today if the local fabric/craft shop has some. They show it on there website but they might not have it in the actual shop. We'll see, if they do I'll definatly tell ya how it turns out.

    Nope but most bonding agents start breaking down around 150. never mind 375... You can try and please let us know.

    Yea, I was wondering if that would be a problem. Have you actually tried it though?

    Will not work, the high temp will break down the bonding agents for the gold leaf.. Best off using Automotive clear with a UV protection..

    Powdercoating over Gold Leaf?

    Hey, has anyone powdercoated clear over gold leaf? I'd like to start messing around with gold leaf and was thinking of a way to protect it. Well would it work ok with a clear powdered over it? The only thing I can think of that wouldn't handle it well would be the adhesive that the gold leaf is stuck on with. Any thoughts?
