Hello Everybody:
I've been lurking in the threads for the last two years. With everybody?s help I have a powder coating business I've started.
My major customer is a blacksmith that wants the cheapest flat black job I can provide. But now I been approached by a corporation building some new equipment. I know when you deal with a corporation the prices double if not triple over Joe Blow that wants a set of valve covers coated but with the money is coming out of his pocket. With my black smith I base the cost per oven load.
The parts they want coated consists of Hoffman electrical panels, some flat plates 30" x 46" x 12 gauge, 5" x 36" x 1", etc.
Does anybody have experience with corporations or a price per square foot I should charge?
Thanks
Gary
