you beat me to this thread.. i have wondered the same thing.... im gonna download a schematic of my unit and see what can be done.If it jams; Force it. And if it breaks it needed replacing anyway.
I can go from 0 to "What seems to be the problem Officer?" in 3 seconds."

Don't mess with the electrical innards of these guns. There are high voltages involved. You may get hurt.
If you want a higher kv see our new high power gun - very popular.--

These products are engineered to work at a certain voltage...Messing with that will only lead to problems. If the output of this gun isn't enough then you have outgrown it, and it's time for a new model.
