  • Need Porsches/Brembo brakes red

As the title says I need a Porsches/Brembo brakes red, what Caswell color do you guys suggest is the closet? I've looked at the pics and it hard to tell. The sooner the better, I'd like to order this tomorrow.

    thanks

It would be worth ordering a color chart

From where? If its not too much I'de certainly be willing to buy one. I'm sure it would be very handy.

Any suggestions on the color? I'd rather not order all 3-4 shades of red and have to try each one. I could live with ordering 2 and seeing which I liked better.

Can you post a picture of the color you're trying to match?

        Is this close: http://forum.caswellplating.com/phot....php?photo=506

Thats the closet I've seen Just seems a little pale. I want something like these.

Something very red with no hint of red or maroon. I'll probably wind up ordering red and safety red I guess. I hope I dont need Ruby red.

Maybe I'm being dumb but I cant find that anywhere. I'm gonna order the Saftey Red and Ruby Red and I'd like to order that as well.

We can provide a color chart, but it only has about 50 of the colors that we sell, and this color chart is powder over paper - it's closer than the pictures on the web site, but still not the same as powder over metal. Give us a call if you want one - it's $10.00.

It doesn't have any metallics, candies or high temp powders.

I guess I'll pass on the chart for now then and just order my powder. I'll continue making sample chips of every color I get.

I can pretty well tall you Safety Red won't work, unless you're planning on trying to mix the colors. It's a nice red, just not as dark as what you're looking at. Almost looked oragne-ish to use. Worked fine enough for our Corvette calipers. Now, you might want to look at Caswell's "Candy Apple" color, that came out RED when I shot a test piece with it. May actually be really close to what you're looking for.
