  • Boing?!

    I have 3 sets of springs to do.. whats the best way to hang them?
    If it jams; Force it. And if it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

    I can go from 0 to "What seems to be the problem Officer?" in 3 seconds."

    hey jim are they hood springs? if so here is a little contraption i made to stretch them for powder.

        gauge 30-32 wire , right on the end of the spring
        you won't even notice it was there

          Something similar but different to pickles' setup. I made to make stretching easier for coating between the coils.

            thanks for the pic of the hood spring contraption... i have a set to do soon and was tryin to think of a way to do 'em

            the other springs are 4x4 springs.. ill try the light gauge wire and see how it works.. i used a bit of heave wire for a set of MC springs and wedged the wire between the coils at one end.. it barely left a mark..
