  • Pressure pot container.

I?ve been searching for a suitable container to convert my hobby gun to a pressure pot set-up and can?t find anything. Can anyone suggest where I might find something usable?

I don?t mind having to modify the container to fit this use; I just can?t find anything to start with. Any ideas?

if you are talking about a hopper here is a thread on the forum where someone made one up for the hobby gun.

Check with Caswell, they might part with the one we built for them.

I'm going to need 4 or 5, so I was hoping that someone had an idea for an off the shelf container that I could modify.

Also, I thought Caswell was going to market this (?)

You'll need to ask them, I thought they were looking into them as well.

goto any hobby store and get some quart containers with screw on tops. Thats what I did before. They were under 5bucks each. I made 3 of em. all diff. colors.

Then I desided to just make a swapable lid. to rotate to all the diff jugs I have.

that is a nice hopper but it needs a powder pump to work doesnt it.

i cant say for sure but what i think is the best description is that in a cup gun the air going into the cup fluidizes the powder and propels it out to the barrel. on a hopper the air in the bottom will fluidize the powder but will not propel it to the gun. the pump is air in and out and draws the fluidized powder from the hopper and then sends it to the gun. simple terms its like the siphon effect that a sand blast cabinet uses for the sand.
