Hey everybody. First, I must say this is a wonderful site. I am very interested in begginning to anodize and powdercoat. From what I have gathered, it seems it would be easier for me to start powder coating first. I have got a couple questions, so hopefully you can help me out. First of all, can I bake my parts in my electric oven? Will it leave any odors or chemicals or anything? And when I powdercoat, will it be a flat color or glossy? I am thinking about powdercoating somethrowing knives that I've got and ws wondering, would the powdercoating wear off the tips where the knife hits the wood or is it pretty durable? Thanks for your help!

The gloss depents on what color you choose. Powdercoat is durable, but not bulletproof.
