  • Manufacturer of Powder from Caswell and Hotcoat

Does anyone know the manufacturer of the powders sold by Caswell and by Hotcoat? I need some more detailed information concerning these brands of powders, and the people at Hotcoat are kinda useless at the answers. I have not questioned Caswell yet, so employees of Caswell, disregard the useless part

Sorry, I don't understand what you're looking for?

We can get technical data sheets on any of our colors and will gladly share that info.

We buy all our powders from HB Fuller in bulk, which allow us to pass on savings and their technical expertise to our customers.

Outgassing formulas basically allow the trapped gasses in a casting to escape through the powdercoating surface easier, allowing a much smoother finish. Kinda like fisheyes in a painted surface, you can add fish eye eliminator to help prevent this from happening, only it is made into the powdercoating itself, not added by the end user, or as far as I know it is not.

We asked our supplier about this and yes, they do offer some products with outgassing formulas. Was there a specific color you wanted? What quantity did you need?

The two they mentioned to us were both TGIC black colors that we don't currently stock.
