  • Oven Building Question

Okay, I am building an oven and have a local place cutting the sheet metal for the inside and out. Question is what is the best thing to use for the frame between the inside and outside. Metal, Wood, stuffed full of insulation? Just not sure and do not want to spend alot on the frame work.

Use metal, and when you put in the insulation try not to pack it in the more you compress it the lower the R-factor goes.Insulation is designed to have air pockets in it.This is if you are useing fiberglass which is the cheapest I have found with high R-factors.

      Oven Building Question

Thanks, after looking into all the items I am going with the metal. Found a local shop with 2x4 tube, just need around 100 feet.

Dale just wanted to know where you got your relay(s) at and do you use 1 or 2 pole relays?
