I'm not sure about the car charger, but the oven will not be pulling anywhere near 30 or 40 amps. A single element that is typically inside a household oven is approximately 3000 watts(13A).
A circuit run with 10 gauge wire should only have a 30 amp breaker.

Thanks Ed. You answered my question. I was worried it could short and not trip the breaker. I'll change it to a 30 amp breaker when I get home. They are not expensive anyway.
