Does anyone have a simple wiring diagram for hooking up a 220 element with thermostat?

Do you want paralell or series system?

i'm supossing series , I want to connect two oven elements up in a 3x3x5

Do you want each element to see 220V?
I'll give you paralell because it's easier to add elements at any time.
However you go it's like this-- Thermostat or Temperature controller
is wired 110V and trips a relay that isolates
the 220V. The elements are wired white
and black to relay.White on one end and
black on the other.The neutral isn't used on
heating elements.The controller can get its
power from the neutral and one of the 220V
lines, either black or white.But not both!
For paralell you simply connect another
element to the first like jump starting a car.
White to white and black to black.

would Two elements be enough for an oven that big?

I built an oven a month or so back that is 3 by 4 by by 5 inside and
it's got 2 - 220 volt element's that are 3500 watt's each. The pre heat
take's a bit but I wanted to keep it under 30 amp. It has an industrial
temp control that would cost a mint except a buddy at work wired it up
with used part we had laying around.

What did you use to insulate the walls? I need to build a bigger oven so I can do Harley Frames since that is where the big $$$ are down here in Fl

I just used regular house insulation and removed the backing cover off of it.

I am new at this, and I also do cycle frames here in ohio. In fact I have a guy giving me his Whole car to do as in the outside of the car! lol biggest project yet, But I want to build an oven. no sense in buying an oven for 5grand and not be big enough. Does anyone have plans on these? Im looking for something about 6ft high, 5ft width and 4ft deep. Any help would be great! also, how do ya guys control the temps? I need help. lol

found the album Duh......thanks Bob....archer I beliieve the l1 and such are the incomming wires , red, black and white. I think, i'll get my neighbor to check it for me since I'm just barly qaulified to change light bulbs...
