Oven front with 2 windows (4 panes of glass per opening)

Access panels. These are used on both sides and the back so I can get to the wiring with out having to remove the entire panels. They will be screwed on instead of rivited.

This is the door latch assembly.

The door weighs rith at 200 pounds. I didn't want all that weight hanging on the hinge all the time. I cam up with this to help support the weight.

Here is the fan mounted at the back of the oven. It pulls the air from the top of the oven then is directed to the bottom of the oven through a duct inside the oven.

Inside the oven, at the top is the inlet to the fan, the black part is the duct returning the air to the inside of the oven.

This shows the 2 interior lights and the air duct releasing the air 1 foot from the bottom of the oven. The Idea of running the return air down the inside of the oven is that it will be re-heated on the return. I do loose a little area inside the oven, but I think this will work fine.

This thing is sitting on casters so I can move it around my shop.
It is built with 18g gal. inside and out.

All I have left to do is purchase my wire and ss wire conectors the hook it up.

Hope this helps someone with their build. All the parts used were from information found here on this forum.

    Thanks for all the help.

I was told that a standard connector wouldn't hold up to the heat..

They make ceramic ones (worked in foodservice on electric ovens for over 16 years)

But of course I dont think they were too cheap..

                  NICE OVEN!

                    Thanks.

I found high temp wire connectors on McMaster-Carr's website.

You did a great job. I like the way the circulation air stays in a duct inside the oven so it doesn't cool off being routed outside.
The window is nice too, always fun to watch what's going on inside.
                        Way to go.

Like the inside idea. Mine was about ready to get it on the outside. But you got me to thinking, so mine will be inside. The loss of a couple inches isn't that big a deal.
