  • Black Chroming in NC?

    Looking for anyone who can handle black chroming, I'm located in Charlotte NC.

    Thanks for any info.

    Ozzie.... first of all, welcome to the boards. I hope you enjoy yourself. Could you explain to me a little more detail as for what a black-chrome is? As a powder guy, I only know that there's an ultra high gloss black but don't know if you need something more abrasion resistant. Also.... on what do you want this done on? Metal type, thickness,etc. etails sure do help a lot. Thanks..... Russ

        Motorcycle mufflers is what I need to do, I dabble in some resto stuff, and I find solid mufflers with rust all the time, they are factory black chrome.
        I've been toying with the idea of stripping them and polishing the steel casings, then having them redone on black chrome.
