Need plating services

My brother has made something for his car out of epoxy, and he wants a metal finish for it. I'm not sure what finish he wants, but I do know that he does not want a chrome finish. Is it possible to plate or coat epoxy in some way that provides a metal look? Also, is it possible to plate or coat plastic to provide a metal look?

Your answer above, and the cited URL leads me to wonder if the conductive paint could be used with a nib or brush to create latticework or other scrolling on items, rather than the spraypaint effect of priming all over.
