  • Need pot metal plated

I would like to have some suggestions as to where I could send a clock bezel from a Schatz ship's clock to be re-plated with brass. It is about 6 inches outside diameter, about 5.25 inches inside diameter and about .75 inch thick. There is a smaller, inside ring, that it closes onto that would have to be plated, maybe. It would depend on the cost. And I have about 3 to 4 to be done, and more in the future.
If it would help, I could post some pics of the project.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am located in Austin, Texas.
    Thanks,
    Monte Reese

      Monte,
If you are still following this thread, I am interested in seeing these pieces. Are they indeed made of pot metal or are they pewter or Britannia metal?
Either way, my shop has that capability to re-brass or Silver the pieces that you need done. We specialize in antique restorations and repair.
Feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you need any additional information.
      Thanks and best of luck,
